There has been interest in the Mediterranean Diet which studies have demonstrated to be an effective measure diet to reduce heart disease risk, inflammation and even cognition
The D.A.S.H. diet Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension which has been shown to be effective in treating high blood pressure (hypertension), blood lipids (cholesterol) & body weight.
More recently some promising evidence on a combination of the DASH & Mediterranean diet called the MIND diet has been successful in reducing incidence of Alzheimer's disease
